You know it's not going to be a great day when you wake up in pain.
I've been pretty sore and achy for the last week which has been annoying but I've been taking painkillers and pushing thorugh it. I have some joint issues (and mental health ones) so it's nothing unusual for me to have pain and fatigue. I think the current flare has probably been caused by all the rain and storms we've had recently. I wasn't planning on writing about it though because honestly who wants to read about me whining I'm in pain? I know I don't want to write about it but sometimes it's what comes out when I put pen to paper (or finger to keyboard, I guess the equivalent is?)
Today, though, I woke up in pain. I could barely roll over and getting from laying to sitting to standing was excruciating. I grabbed a crutch, hobbled to the bathroom, got some water, hobbled back to bed, took some pain medication and lay back down. I woke up again a few hours later in a little less agony but was able to move.
I pretty much got as far as my couch, laid in supplies for the day, and got comfy. I spent the day reading (Veronica Roth - Divergent), watching TV and Youtube. I've now watched the first two First Doctor Serials - An Unearthly Child & The Daleks - and am pleased to report Daleks still terrify me as much now as they did when I was a child. I also completely adore Susan.
In other, completely unrelated news, I don't think I'm loving this layout. When I have more functioning brain capacity, I will be exploring and hopefully finding a new one.
